This movie, based on the classic reoccurring SNL characters played by Dan Aykroyd and Jane Curtin sits on Rotten Tomatoes at 37% with a Popcorn Meter rating of 38. But why? How? Beldar and Prymatt (Aykroyd and Curtin) find themselves stranded on the planet Earth and on the run from the INS, as they attempt to blend in and start a family while they await rescue from their fellow Remulak - their home planet. But is Remulak really all its cracked up to be? Is Earth more suited to their family now? What about their daughter, Connie? Filled to the brim with SNL cast members, visual gags, and a surprising amount of heart and depth, this movie deserves the status of cult-classic. Let us explain why...
