A safe space for swimmers and non-swimmers to be able to talk about their peaks and troughs of life, love, mental health, what being in the water means to them and how they are kind to themselves. A podcast that covers big life events plus all the other little but important bits in-between. Listeners can expect lots of laughs, hopefully learn something new along the way, gain some tips on cold water swimming, feel inspired to do things that make them feel good and hopefully they will want to keep coming back for more heart warming discussions. Overcoming Setbacks, Going at Your Own Pace & Triathlon Tips with Emma Joy

I spoke with the impressive Emma Joy, an endurance runner and triathlete, who has recently completed her first Half Ironman.

We talk about Emma’s journey from beginner runner to Half Ironman and how recovery for your mind and body is a priority amongst lots of big events. Emma talks to me about a cycling accident she experienced at the end of last year and how she overcame this and dealt with the setbacks.

Plus, we discuss how you should never compare your situation or training to anyone else AND Emma offers some top tips for beginner triathletes.
