On this episode, Dwight tells the story of growing up in the small town of Hazard, Kentucky. After high school, he attended college for a while and then worked at a Disney theme park before deciding to go back to college and finish his degree. After graduating from university, Dwight moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in acting. Soon after arrival, he booked his first audition job on a commercial, which earned him his SAG card. Thus began his journey to perfect his craft and act as often as possible. After many years in LA, he moved back to Kentucky to take care of his ailing mother, finding that he enjoyed being home. Fortunately, he did not have to give up his acting career and worked more than ever, including a role on Chicago Fire as Dr. Mayberry. Since then, his career, like many others, has been sidetracked due to the COVID pandemic.
