Happy Talks #7 - Why Active & Empathetic Listening are a Must + Tips - with Ryan Grady
In this episode I am exploring the power of listening and showing your ability to understand somebody. This skill is super useful for conflict resolution and just for communication in general. When someone wants to be heard, it's hard for them to listen. Showing someone that you care is one of the most powerful forms of love. In this episode, I talk about empathy, acknowledgement, and being one leading a conversation towards love.
One thing I want to add in here that I forgot to mention in the episode is that people are capable of self regulating themselves to a certain extent. So it's important to be aware of when to use the strategies I outlined in this video.
