Adam makes his second appearance on IA to assess the state of the current political climate in the US and its notable changes, or lack thereof, over the course of the past year. As Brandon and Adam try to hone in on the most formidable problems faced by those with hopes of a more cooperative and healthy political landscape, a few topics come into focus including:

• prevalence of racism vs classicism
• equality of outcome vs equality of opportunity
• the effects of disproportionate political engagement across income levels
• what is the relationship between raising the floor and lowering the ceiling?
