Inspirational/Country Music Artist Amanda Hagel has established herself as an artist whose mission is to create music that uplifts, empowers, and inspires her listeners. For over a decade, Amanda has gained national and international recognition as a talented performer and songwriter. Growing up on a farm in the southwest corner of Saskatchewan near the town of Lancer, Amanda’s upbringing was steeped in country living. In that environment, her love and appreciation for country music would blossom. Growing up in an era of country music listening to amazing female artists like Martina McBride, Patty Loveless, and Alison Krauss to name a few, provided great inspiration for Amanda as she began to develop her love for singing, playing guitar, and writing songs. Amanda’s family is also very musical and being the youngest of 9 siblings, she also drew great inspiration from her family being surrounded by music at family gatherings and events. Beyond her love for the country music genre, Amanda has also coined herself an “Inspirational Artist”. Amanda is often asked to explain what that means as it’s not a well-known genre although the category title does exist in certain sectors. For Amanda, being raised in a faith-based home and the growth she has experienced on her spiritual journey has led her on a path of expression grounded in deep faith, authenticity, integrity, truth, and love. This heart-centered expression is shared through her music and the messages it conveys. For Amanda, it has taken a great deal of courage and persistence to always remain true to following the promptings of her heart despite external pressure to fit in with current trends and styles in the music industry. Along with her passion and calling to create beautiful musical art, Amanda also has an established career in the health and wellness industry. When she’s not in her creative space, writing, performing, or working on her latest musical project, Amanda works as a Personal Fitness Trainer and is the owner and operator of her small business “A Team Training”. Amanda finds this secondary career brings a great deal of balance for her in all areas of her health and well-being. To bring the best and highest version of herself into the world and express that through her music, Amanda must first take care of herself, and through her experience as a fitness coach for others, Amanda has learned a great deal about what it means to be balanced and grounded in all aspects of wellness. Since the start of her career musical highlights include being the 2015 national finalist in the Canadian CBC Searchlight Competition, in 2017 the Saskatchewan Country Music Association Country Gospel Album of the Year award recipient, and in 2018 a category finalist in the USA International Song Writing Competition for her original song Listen with Your Heart. Most recently, two huge highlights in 2022-23 for Amanda include an honorable mention in the prestigious International Song Writing Competition for her songs “Be the Light” in 2022 and “These Roots” in 2023. Along with this songwriting recognition, Amanda received her first Western Canadian Music Award Nomination for Spiritual Artist of the Year in 2022. Amanda’s most recent 2023 single release “These Roots” saw incredible success achieving music video placements on CMT.com along with a live premiere on the U.S. National Network Heartland. Both are career milestones for Amanda. With 12 singles released to country radio, 25 official music videos, and 4 albums currently released, Amanda has fully embraced her musical calling as her songs and their messages continue to be heard all around the world. I didn't feel like I had anything to give.
Alisha Eich Emerging Canadian worship singer/songwriter Alisha Eich is a GMA-nominated artist who is paving the way for fresh and creative sounds within Canadian Christian music. Her heart for people to know and experience God's love inside and outside of the church is so evident in her music. That same spirit is highlighted with her lyrical storytelling, sweet and powerful vocals, and melodic creativity. Her music is eclectic as it easily flows from corporate worship music to a more contemporary indie sound. Although her long-time influences range from Carol King to Nat King Cole, you might find more similarities in her music to the sounds of more recent artists like Amanda Cook, or Kalley. Alisha developed a more serious interest in singing, playing the piano, and writing music around the age of 11. As a teenager, she was very influenced by worship leaders like Darlene Zschech, Delirious, Brooke Fraser, and Hillsong United which changed the way she viewed corporate worship music. These artists showed how you could write creatively, authentically, and spiritually simultaneously. Alisha was raised in a ministry-minded home and was very influenced by her parents Bruce Mann, a pastor, and Wanda Mann, a long-time songwriter and worship leader. Using what was in your hand to serve God was the focus in her home and still is now. With the musical ingenuity of her brother (and producer) Timothy Mann, she's been able to create engaging, challenging, and encouraging music. Alisha released her debut album, 'I'm Listening' on July 9th, 2021. It was nominated for Album of the Year at the 2022 Gospel Music Association Covenant Awards. Her newest release, ' Back to Jesus,' is a single that she’s collaborated with Juno award winners K- Anthony and Lloyd Nicks are very well-known gospel artists and songwriters. Alisha has been busy writing and recording for the upcoming year so stay tuned! Outside of her musical endeavors, Alisha is married to Cody Eich, a talented and internationally recognized tattoo artist, and together they have four young children; Phoenix, Gemma, and twin girls named Nova and Coco.
