
Amina came from Pakistan when she was five years old. She struggled to settle down in the US and always felt lost between the two countries. Fellow immigrants Amina met along the way helped her feel comfortable and confident with her identity.
At George Washington University, Amina is part of the Pakistani student association to remain in touch with her culture. Amina thinks that sharing her culture, hospitality, and diversity of ethnic groups and languages in Pakistan, is the best way to combat hatred.
