We've made it past Thanksgiving. And if there's a lesson to be learned, it is that a feast here or there is not a permanent weight gain.
One tool that can be used to lose more weight more quickly than diet alone is Meal Compression. You will eat all of your meals within an 8 hour period of the day and for the remaining 16, you will not eat.
The most efficient way to do this, is to push back breakfast times into lunchtime. In weeks, there will be little desire for breakfast.
