Harry Redknapp took charge of West Ham in 1994 and worked with Head of Youth Development Tony Carr to produce quality young players through their Academy. Rio Ferdinand, Frank Lampard, Joe Cole, Michael Carrick and Jermain Defoe all debuted and became first team players under his leadership.
