Lois Christie is president & C.E.O. of Christie & Co Salon & Spa. The Largest most prestigious salon in New York. It all began with a dream, determination and a Vision in Bayside in 1970 with a loan of $1,500 from her uncle.

She and her salon have been recognized by the beauty industry and the community she supports. For 10 years Christie salon has won BethpageQueens courier "Best of Boro" competition.

Lois personally was recognized by Mayor Bloomberg as entrepreneur of the year, Queens Power Women award, humanitarian of the year Award for her work during Storm Sandy, and the Italian American Heritage award, just to name the few.

Lois became the first women president of Intercoiffure America/Canada, which is the most prestigious organization for salon owners internationally.
