Lindsey has type 1 diabetes AKA T1D AKA The Big Stupid Kahuna. You have probably heard of type 2 diabetes -- your grandma might have it; that's why she's always popping those sugar-free caramels -- but there's a lottttt about this disease that remains in the dark.

SO: We're hear to talk about the different types of diabetes, the (very reassuring, not at all disturbing) history, and, of course, INSULIN! The thing that can kill us, either way.
