I Miss You Halloween Special 2025! - Kids Horror TV Shows with Johanna Lyon! (feat Goosebumps and Are You Afraid of the Dark?)

Last year it was kids horror movies. This year it's kids horror TV shows. The twist? This time we are joined by the wonderfully spooky Johanna Lyon! Before diving into the episodes, we started by talking about the appeal of scary stories for kids and whether they're ever appropriate. Turns out they might be?

In Goosebumps, we follow kid who falls into a superhero's lair. In Are You Afraid of the Dark, we get a twofer: a creepy down and a creepy clown (and an annoying shit of a kid, too). And as a warm up, we watched a short Grizzly Tales for Gruesome Kids episode about a sulky little fella named Simon. All pretty fun!
