Spring is here and we’ve got us another birthday on our hands here on the IDNTST Pod. This week we’re celebrating Aarons birthday with trip back to a simpler time, one of fast cars, loose women and as much cocaine as you can inhale! This week we watched 1997’s ode to the golden age of adult film making; Boogie Nights! Admittedly, this film is a bit of a break in format, but hey a man kills himself at a party and another goes to jail for child pornography, so as far as we’re concerned this is still on brand for us! Join us as we bask in the love of filmmaking that this movie really showcases, and how even though it’s about the death of Porn stars into the 80’s, there’s also some modern comparisons to the changes in film consumption into the 90’s.
