Freedom freedom, let it ring! July is the month in America that Independence Day is celebrated. This year a new federal holiday was adopted, Juneteenth. For many years Juneteenth has been celebrated widely without the government recognition as a holiday. This year I saw so many tributes and celebrations; the one that stood out to me was "Freeish since 1865".
