Based on the Sierra Leone National Lifeskills manual “I am somebody”, this podcast is developed from recordings prepared for airing on Education Radio as part of the Radio Teaching Programme by the Teaching Service Commission and Ministry of Basic and Senior Secondary Education while schools are closed due to Coronavirus mitigration measures. The programme is aired from 7:30-8pm five days per week (Monday to Friday) on 95.3fm targeting both in and out of school adolescent girls and boys aged 9-13.

It is important to learn the difference between needs and wants and to consider some of the safe and unsafe ways you can get money. Once you know about money, you can make wise decisions about earning, saving and spending money, without putting yourself at risk.
