薛瑄，字德溫，號敬軒，山西河津縣人，明朝理學家。 《讀書錄》卷三 提到：「人亦有此理，我亦有此理，人不能全，而我能之，視不能全者憫憐之可也，鄙笑之不可也；引掖之可也，棄絶之不可也。」 我們都有別人不及之處，也有不及別人之處，各有所長。 發揮自己的優點長處去幫助人，而非以己之長，攻人之短。
