In a post-Christian world, it can be challenging to know how to be faithful to Jesus when the surrounding culture can be anything from apathetic to hostile in matters of faith. But this is not a new challenge – 2600 years ago, four young men faced a similar challenge when they found themselves as exiles, wondering where to draw the line when asked to do things that would have made them very uncomfortable. Will they rebel or submit? Will they compromise or conform? Their faith —and ours —are tested in times like these.
