HUMANATY: where everyone belongs. HUMANATY is more than a podcast, it’s a community focused on kindness and human connection. Launched in 2023, HUMANATY is dedicated to fostering meaningful conversations about leadership, kindness, and community. The podcast features diverse voices who share their perspectives on what it means to live with empathy and compassion in today’s world. The name HUMANATY further speaks to the purpose of the podcast. There’s a twist on the name. HUMANATY is spelled with all A’s. Mana happens to be the name of the host, but also refers to a healing power in Oceanian cultures. In its first season, HUMANATY introduced the “Power of” series, featuring conversations with community leaders, CEOs, and innovators. Each episode focuses on an overall theme as it relates to the guest’s experiences and thoughts. Season 2 takes the concept of kindness further! This season’s guests will include leaders, mental health advocates, and business innovators, who share how practicing self-kindness can foster resilience, improve leadership, and strengthen connections. “We often think of kindness as something extended outward, but this season, we’re examining how it starts from within,” says Moini. “Through these stories, we hope to show how caring for oneself can empower people to make greater contributions to their families, workplaces, and communities.” Please follow @humanatypodcast on social media platforms. Power of Community
What is the Power of Community? A community can help us to develop a sense of identity and feel that we are part of something important. In this episode of HUMANATY Podcast, host Mana Moini speaks with featured guest, Jill Wiedemann-West, the Chief Executive Officer of People Incorporated. People Incorporated is the largest community-based nonprofit mental health provider in Minnesota. In this conversation, Mana and Jill discuss how we all have mental health. The more we talk about it and create a sense of community, the better it is for the movement. We can do more when we combine our best thinking and actions. Thank you for tuning in and being a part of this community!
