The βHuman x Machineβ podcast looks at the ever-increasing interplay between humans and machines and is made in collaboration with global C-suite leaders who are operating at the cutting edge of technology, product, entrepreneurship, design and academia. The podcast will bring you not just interviews with top experts, but their wisdom on what lessons theyβve learned from the past, how they operate today and what they anticipate the future will look like. The C-Level leaders you will hear from come from industries that are being rapidly disrupted and accelerated by technological advances like artificial intelligence, cloud computing and where change for us as humans is imperative β we either get involved or get left behind. I ask them about their failures, how they make better decisions today and how we can all become more consciously competent in this accelerated age. The show is hosted by Christopher Lomas. Season 2: Episode 12: Tilly Lockey (Ambassador for Open Bionics)
In this episode I interviewed Tilly Lockey (Bilaterel amputee, Model, Singer, TV Host, Influencer and Ambassador for Open Bionics) about her life-changing experience of becoming an amputee as a baby after contracting meningococcal septicaemia, and the influence of #Robotics and other #EmergingTech on her life. "I was going to die, I was given zero percent chance of survival". We discuss her role in Product Development and user testing; what drives the cost of robotic prosthetics; how robotic technology communicates with the human body; as well as her experiences as a TV presenter/ personality, a Model (at London Fashion Week and appearing in Vogue Magazine), and meeting the Dalai Lama!
