#20 - HOW DO YOU FIGHT? The Art Of War, Sun Tsu, Prophet Mohammed, Culture
This week On Human Bound Podcast, I explore the question; HOW DO YOU FIGHT? Here is the truth, fight is inevitable, because of human diferences. But is it all together bad?, what does fighting mean to you? can you still have a good relationship after a fight?, why did the prophets engaged in fights?, what does victory mean to you? I explored these questions through cultural, political, military, religious and social dimensions, relying on human nature, history, and religious text. I believe, a good fight builds raher than destroys. This is an opinion held by many great generals and statesmen. If you lose people, relationships, and a good part of yourself after every fight, then you don't know how to fight a good fight. #19 - WHAT DO YOU DO IN EXTREME SITUATION? History, Human nature, Migration, Relationship
This week on Human Bound Podcast, I explore the question; WHAT DO YOU DO IN EXTREME SITUATIONS? We think we know people, and even ourselves, until extreme situations set in to disrupt that thinking, and all of a sudden we start to realise the other side of the nice picture we hold. Extreme situations have a way of bluring the line between good and evil, right and wrong, moral and immoral, which is why a great respect is always accorded to anyone who is able to hold himself together in such situations. What I intend to do, in this episode, is to stimulate the compationate side of us, so we may understand the actions of people even if we disagree with them. I believe compassion helps us relate better with people and, indeed, makes us consciouse of our weakness as humans and propensity to slip and do worse than the people we despise. Using historic, religious, cultural, and social accounts, I explored the question with keen interent in how deeply we are bound to our humanity. #18 - WHAT DID YOU LEARN? Patrice Lumumba, Congo, Kwane Nkrumah, Africa, History, Culture
THIS WEEK ON HUMAN BOUND PODCAST,. I explore the question; WHAT DID YOU LEARN? This question is a rather interesting one, especially when mind is given to the fact that the behavior of many of us is one that suggest lack of learning despite geing through advert situations. Think about it! It is ridiculous to think people don't learn. Everyone does, but the problem is, many people take the wrong lessons, hence, their propenisity to repeat same mistake over and over again while expecting different outcome. In attempt to explore this question, I looked back an episode in African history, the tragic life of Patrice Lumumba of the Congo, his trials and tragic end, seeking to ask the question; what did we learn from that and similar episodes in our history. I looked further into the dimension of human social relationship and how learning wrong lessons could make social life almost impossible. #17 - Is life meant to be fair? History, Ghanaian tragedy, Islam, Humanity
THIS WEEK ON HUMAN BOUND PODCAST, I explored the two most important points in our lives, Birth and death. I made the argument that non of us was consulted before he was born and non will be consulted before death takes him. Imagine being asked before you are born; Do you want to come into the world? Which part of the world? Into which family? in what age in the history timeline? I, further, argued that the does not operate on fairness, and that disappointment will always be the awful lot of anyone who approaches life under the assumption that it would be fair. Thus, I propose that life is operated on JUSTICE. This and more on HBP Available on Youtube, Apple podcast, Spotify and any platform. thank you for supporting the show. #16 - Are we Safe? Bawku conflict is a threat, Muntaka Mubarak, Security, Politics
This week on HUMAN BOUND PODCAST. I explore the question ''ARE WE SAFE?''.... In the wake of the current global turbulence which shakes almost every aspect of our lives, be it social, mental, emotional, economic, political and even existential, it is only natural to worry about safety. As always, I look into these questions in a spirit of curiousity, as I believe we as humans have more legitimate claim to curioousity than we have to knowledge. I that regard, I shared some thoughts about the worrying escalation of the Bawku conflict in our dear Ghana and how security failuire cannot be an option. Meanwhile, the turbulence, equally fatal, is the shaking grounds of our social institutions which is on its way to undermine the very essence of what it means to be humans and to have a good human experience. #15 - HOW FAR AWAY ARE YOU TO THE BREAKING PONIT?, Fredrick Doughlas, Straw, Stress, Slavery
THIS WEEK ON HUMAN BOUND PODCAST. I explored the question, ''HOW FAR AWAY ARE YOU TO THE BREAKING PONIT?'' We are living in a very stressful world. Emotionally, physically and mentally people are suffering a great deal of stress. The danger is, many are just an inch away from the breaking point. When I say ''BREAKING PONIT'' here is what I mean; I mean that pont where we break bad by the extreme pressure of the stresses we have been under for long time. This will be the point where people decide they have had enough and can't take it anymore. I think many people in our societies are either already broken or just an inch away from getting broken. This would explain our anger issues, bitter world view and sudden sicknesses and deaths. To make my points, I thought about the life of Fredrick Doughlas, the slave who broke away to become a prominent figure in The USA, the movie ''STRAW'', Breaking bad among other facsinating ideas and materials. #14 - Are you at the right position? Relationship, Politics, Ghana, Zango community, Life realities
THIS WEEK ON HUMAN BOUND PODCAST... I explore the question, WHAT IS YOUR POSITION? I tried to make the case that the nature of the world is one that flows constantly, and one could only enjoy what he/she is well positioned for.   Beyond our individual lives, same could be asked of our communites, for we always ask such questions as; why are we always behind, taking the backseat of developmental train? Here is another question to consider, have we, or what are we doing to position ourselves well to be offered front seats?.   Let's do this.. aVAILABLE On Youtube, Apple podcast, Spotify and any platform.   thank you for supporting the show.   SOCIAL LINKS:   -X: https://x.com/lihambal2?s=21   Youtube: / @lihambal   Email: Lihambalquotes4u@gmail.com

#13 - WHO IS TO BLAME? Zango, Relationship crush, toxic culture, Ghana
This week On Human Bound Podcast. I try to explore the question “WHO IS TO BLAME?”, I do this with focus on my community, the zango community. It is a known fact that there is much left to be desired about the situation of our communities, especially when the problems we face affect the general outlook of the community. We always look for someone to blame for our dreadful lots, in this, we can’t get it wrong, for that’s how we further the stretch of our wrong turn. This is what I think. available on Apple podcast, Spotify and any platform. thank you for supporting the show. #12 - “Can we do any better than our leaders?”, Zango, power, money, leadership, Culture, Hausa,
This week on Human Bound Podcast: I explore the question; “Can we do any better than our leaders?” This question, I address to myself and many young people in my position who have the tendency to rain criticism and sometimes insults to people in high places. You know how we chat among ourselves at tea”ataya” joints and fill out conversational menues with Malam’s who have no iman?, MPs who have no competence?, chiefs who have no sense?, etc. We have all done it, and still do it. But the question is; can we do any better should we be given the positions oppupied by such people? If you answer to the affirmative, what makes us think so? This is important bcause, the same people we disapprove today, used to be like us, in our same position, and disapproved their elders and thought they would do better. But are they any better? So what exactly is the problem at the places of influence that make people change? . thank you for supporting the show. #11 - Where does Ghana stand? Iran-Israel, War, Middle east, Non-Aligned movement.
This week on HUMAN BOUND PODCAST, I ask the question “WHERE DO YOU STAND? This question is in relation to the current war between Israel and Iran. In these unfortunate circumstances, tensions rise high and so do emotion. It is almost impossible to be a spectator without your heart beating for or against a side. The current conflict is a unique one in its perceived scope ranging from political, cultural, tribal, and religious lines. The missiles may be flying and dropping in the Middle East, but the most critical war front which can shape the fortunes of any of the countries is the media and public opinion. To win this war, every mind in the world is a potential soldier which must be recruited through heavy propaganda machinery. What is this fight about? Is it a religious or political fight?  What position will Ghana take? Will it remain non-aligned or will it reconsider that position?  thank you for supporting the show. #10 - What's your story?, Religion, Science, Culture, History, Africa, Zongo
This week on Human Bound Podcast. I take a journey to explore the question; “WHAT IS YOUR STORY?” I find stories fascinating in that they shape our beliefs about ourselves, our world view, our personalities and, ultimately, how we act those out in real life. Here is one fact to consider, we are all acting out a belief we developed from a story. So who is telling us these stories and for what purpose? I looked into the sources from where we get our stories, sources such as religion and culture. whether that be a religious story, cultural story, political story, question is; what story do you believe in? Good story will inspire you up the eternal virtue of love, humanity and positivity. Bad story will do just the opposite. #09 - Why I started doing long format content. Special episode, Tiktok, Podcast, human attention
This week on Human Bound podcast. This is a Special episode, in which I explained why I started doing long form of content. Short format of content, though wide in reach as it is attention seeking in nature, its limited in scope and impact. what tuly expand your scope of understanding while having immeasurable impact on you and your listeners is the long form of content. I must say this, having fewer people consuming your long content is worth lot more than thousands consuming your shorts. Because the impact is incomperable. #08 - What happens when you don't fit?, Race, gender, culture, Africa, politics, Zango
This week on Human Bound Poscast. I explpored the question; ''WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU DON'T FIT?'' If I was to ask this question some years back, it wouldn't be worthy of a second of consideration, but in the current globalised world, we have broken barriars, pushed boundaries and are trying to connect the world. In such a world, we, by nature, have found ourselves at places where we feel lost, weak, inadequate or even wrong. for being who we are. And the solution for many of us has been to forsake everything that define us, culture, history, community, or even race, in order that we may be accepted by a circle we percieve to be superior to ours. Thus, the race to fit in. The question arises... Where would you rather be?.....a place you belong, or a place you may fit? #07 - ''Why does your name matter?'' Malcon X, Black History, Lables, Culture
This week on Human Bound Poscast. I explpored the question; ''WHY DOES YOUR NAME MATTER?'' I relied heavily on the life of that great man, Malcom X, whose life was a demonstration of how names affect human life and behaviour. Malcom didn't start with ''X'', his name kept changing, from Malcom Little, to Red, to Satan, to Malcom X, To Hajj Malik El Shabaz, To Omowale..... How did he come by those names? who named him? how did it affect him? I looked into these in my quest to explore the whole name question.  thank you for supporting the show.
