The EOC Is Activated. Now What?

It's a busy and exciting week for us here in the nation's capital. HSEMA will activate the District's Emergency Operations Center (EOC) on February 4, 2020 to support the State of the Union Address (SOTUA). But what does that activation really entail?

HSEMA Director Christopher Rodriguez sits down Kim Kadesch, Director of the Federal Emergency Management Agency's Office of the National Capital Region Coordination (ONCRC), to give a behind the scenes peak into what an EOC activation means and how our teams work together to prepare for it.
