Geburtstag von Leonard Bernstein im Jahr 2018 gab es ein klassisches Jazz-Konzert mit der hr-Bigband als Special Guest. Den Jazz hatten schon andere in die Kunstmusik implementiert, doch Leonard Bernstein gab ihr noch den besonderen Kick, den Drive, die Lässigkeit.
