Jonathan is born & raised Alberta, grown up on a farm just outside of Calgary. At the young age of 20, Jonathan fulfilled his childhood dream of becoming a professional firefighter with the Calgary Fire Department. And got married at the age of 21 with his high school sweetheart, Shannon, and together they have 4 children. I
In his early 20's, when not fighting fires, Jonathan started a renovation and construction company which naturally progressed into property flipping. After having a number of sub-par realtor experiences, he became a Realtor to fufill that aspen of their business. Quite quickly, Jonathan realized the opportunity that existed by pursuing a career in the real estate industry, and in 2015, he retired as a fire fighter, and started building his team, Popowich & Company.
He won the eXp presidents production award “Gold” a couple of years ago for small teams. This year Popowich & Company anticipates to close over $200,000,000 in volume with a lean & mean team of 4 agents, and 3 support staff. When not "realtoring" Jonathan can be found with his family at the lake wake surfing, or in the mountains snowboarding or mountain biking.
