In my podcast How She Did It, we explore female entrepreneurship and personal development through inspiring interviews . This podcast will be in multiple languages, including Chinese, Cantonese and English.
Why did I create this podcast?
As many friends know, I love a good story. I love chatting to people and hearing their stories. Whenever I hear exciting stories about my friends starting new businesses or how they’re thriving, I wish that I could share these stories so everyone could benefit.
That’s why I created this podcast. A place to hear other people’s inspiring stories about business.
Why how SHE did it?
Growing up in a developing country, I’ve always been interested in female empowerment topics. Two years ago, I travelled to Nepal to volunteer and teach English. During my trip, I interviewed the locals to learn more about female empowerment in Nepal.
From that experience, it was clear that female empowerment is a complicated topic. And it’s constantly changing due to technology, economy, politics and now the pandemic. I remember my students were using tik tok to learn English and stay updated on what’s happening around the world. Social media and the internet have completely changed the way they learn.
In this podcast, I’m not aiming to give a definitive answer or change anyone’s life. But I want to help through spreading positive and inspiring content on females in leadership, business and entrepreneurship.
Over the past 30 years, I’ve met great female mentors. They helped me to grow into an independent and confident woman. I am eternally grateful for the wisdom that I've received but often feel ashamed that I have nothing to offer in return.
This podcast is my way to show my gratitude to these incredible mentors. I’ll interview inspiring women from all walks of life and share their entrepreneurship stories. I hope this podcast can inspire women like me into business and learn more about entrepreneurship.

She is an entrepreneur, public speaker, and a social media influencer and On Being Bold founder.
