S8E2 - How Could We? Build a global network of climate leaders

Welcome to the second episode of our latest season, recorded live at the Paris REALITY Tour. The event was organised by The Climate Reality Project and aims to build public momentum and political will for ambitious climate commitments leading up to COP 30 in Brazil.

This week, Anne-Sophie Garrigou interviews Gosia Rychlik, Branch Manager at The Climate Reality Project who is based in Poland.

In this episode, Gosia outlines the work the Climate Reality Project prioritises as a global initiative, including their three major campaigns - emissions reduction, financing a just transition, and international cooperation for strengthening climate action.

Gosia also talks about the role of storytelling in effective climate leadership, the importance of building bridges and “unusual partnerships” to effect change, as well as how taking action at a local level can impact a global problem like climate change.

If you enjoyed this episode, we recommend checking out this season’s previous episode with Climate-KIC’s Marina Gil Velasco, where we discussed the recently-launched Climate KIC Academy - supported by EIT - and how Climate KIC is tackling the green skills gap.
