Today’s Teacher’s Podcast
Introducing our special guest Trevor TerHaar on Today’s Teacher’s Podcast. Since we ran out of time I want to talk about Students who are good at monitoring their comprehension. I believe this go along with the whole podcast because if the students can know when they understand what they read and when they do not. They then can implement some strategy I shared to "fix" problems in their understanding as the problems arise. Research shows that instruction, even in the early grades, can help students become better at monitoring their comprehension.
