Hothouse Transplants

Hothouse Transplants started as a seed of an idea, back in 1996: a collection of essays, written by homeschoolers across the nation, answering the skeptics: How will you ever go to college, get a job, or function socially? Sixteen contributors, between the ages of seventeen and twenty-one, wrote about their high school journey, where they were, and their plans and aspirations for the future that was opening before them. These essays were collected into a book and published under the title: Hothouse Transplants. Over two decades later, Matthew Duffy, contributor and collector of the original stories wanted to revisit these lives today, in podcast form. The Hothouse Transplants Podcast is a casual interview-style retrospective of these early-generation homeschool graduates, now adults, reflecting on how their unique educational experiences shaped and informed their lives. Honest stories of their real life “hothouse” upbringings, more than twenty-five years later. https://www.hothousetransplants.com/ profile.php ( https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100075428247306 )
