After 11 years, well 9 for Yank, John Porter, the mastermind of House of Scouse finally gets interview. The History and his mindset behind the continue reinvention of House of Scouse is discussed. A small glimpse into what has made this dynamic between the two of us over the last decade is here for you to enjoy
The Pandemic hasnt been great, but HoS will now move the Virtual One Day Festivals back into venues for 2021 and beyond.
House of Scouse - Into a 2nd Decade of Keeping Liverpool Entertained
Thanks to the family bubble, my 8 year old niece Bea came to stay over last night. So Yank thought it would be a bit of fun for her to do a mini podcast about what she has been up to during lockdown. Its been tough for kids too, so its a nice short insight into what the kids have had to do to keep themselves amused during the last 12 months.
Then in an explosive finish Bea turns the airwaves blue with an answer to The Stocko Question that will leave listeners stunned!
Ant is back again, and his Air Miles will be racked up here as he flies from New York, to Chicago and then onto Los Angeles, as Vince McMahon takes a chance on hosting the 2nd Mania across 3 cities in 2 time zones!
All 2 World Wrestling Federation titles are on the line, with Hulk Hogan defending the WWF Title vs King Kong Bundy in a Steel Cage. Rowdy Roddy Piper fights Mr T in a 10 round Boxing Fight, and William "The Refridgerator" Perry takes a 6 man team of NFL stars into a 20 Man Battle Royale, where Andre The Giant lays waiting
Lets go on a trip, 3 Venues, 12 matches
An it was held on a Monday too!!!
Yank is a massive wrestling fan (yes he knows its not real) and with the 37th Edition of the event coming this April, he is undertaking the task of watching all 36 previous WrestleMania events in their entirety. The Classic Matches to the total dross. Yank will watch them all. This show he goes back to March 31st 1985 for the very first hosting of this event.
Like any Pilot episode, this is to work on the format, formula and flow of the show.
If you fancy being a co-host for either a single show, or a series of shows, please get in touch
Any and all feedback is appreciated,
Thanks for listening
Yank
After her stunning performance on Friday Nights Live Stream, Chloe Judge joins Yank to chat about how the girl who wouldnt stop performing at school, is becoming not just an all round musician, but someone who has taken rejection at the early stages of TV Talent Shows, and is forging her own path in the industry.
The current climate has led to a song written for House of Scouse work during this lockdown, and we all anticipate its launch soon
Tonights show has been supported by our friends as IWG Clothing who made Yank look presentable for this show.

Welcome to Season 2 of Scousecast.
Been a while, but will all thats going on with LockDown, theres not many people I can interview that know me as well as my own Mother.
Yes, Ann McKenna, the person who has known for for 44 years and 80 days (+ 9 months she carried me) tells a few stories about when we were kids, when she was younger, and her take on the difference in Generations.
Also includes a brief cameo from Ken The Ninja!!
If you like it, there can, well, there will be more of these.
Enjoy
A new chapter in the ScouseCast Network begins with the first in a series of Deep Dive Interviews with people who have a local connection.
This debut episode features Lisa Simmons, owner of Spartan Management, an agency that has celebrities from sport and entertainment on their books.
Lisa and Yank talk about how they met at the same event, little realising they were both on their first hustle into the world of boxing!
They also discuss how knocking down doors into what was a "Man's World" was a challenge Lisa was more than happy to take on, and how her hard work has provided a life for her, and her 2 teenage children, full of opportunities and experiences.
We talk about Trusting The Process, and having Faith in The System, as well as Politics, Tinder and the Future
You can find Lisa on Twitter at @_LisaSimmo
As usual you can find House of Scouse on all Social Media under @HouseofScouse
In the first of a series of hard hitting interviews, Yank sits down with a gentleman, known as Sober Scouser online, to discuss how he fell into over a decade long spiral and battle with alcohol and drug addiction.
He talks in detail about how this battle has almost cost him everything in his life, including almost losing his own life during his battles.
Now, he wants to share his story, and how his renewed recovery is bringing him a new found desire to help others.
This story may include some topics that may be uncomfortable to listen to, but Real Life isn't always Rainbows & Unicorns.

Tom McAdam had an idea. To set up a Social Media Page where people who are struggling with their Mental Health will have someone to talk to, at any time, no matter where they are in the world. The concept is exploding now and has bases from Australia to the USA.
Also joining Tom are 2 more very talented local musicians in Mathew Read & Junior Dayvis. Both talk the Open Mic Network and how the North West Territory is currently without equal in the United Kingdom
To understand the process behind writing music from opening notes, to completed song, we asked DNK - David Neville King to get a couple of guests to join us to talk all things music, and the Liverpool Scene.
He did not disappoint, bringing back Alan Trigg, and making his ScouseCast Debut, Kingfast.
The three talk about their musical process, as then all give us an Original song, showing in detail how they come up with the songs that have made them all 3 of the most popular and fully booked acts in the Liverpool Music Scene
He's back again! DNK once again joins Sconner & Jack, with Yank away working.
They are also joined by Alan Trigg, where they discuss all things from music to sport, including some music from Alan to compliment the show.
So, its been a couple of weeks. Jack, Sconner & Yank all have been busy with The Real World, but Sconner and Jack found time to record a Double Dose of Music. DNK - David Neville King makes his ScouseCast Debut after some time away. His music was one of the highlights of the Sunset Sessions of Summers Past, and his humour in the music shines through as brightly as ever.
Talking of Shining, the Shining Star, Sam Lyon also joined the boys to deliver her own amazing voice, bringing some feminine charm to the Studio.
Okay, so the guests are good, but I swallowed my mic!!!
However, in the studio, Stevo & Sinead came to see Yank before their Wednesday night one off show at the Winslow Hotel.
Nothing was off limits, and we suggest wearing headphones due to the content. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.
From Evernton, to cars. From music to books, From a documentary to wondering why Gerry Adams had over a dozen accents in the 80s!
Stevo & Sinead lay themselves open with their battles against both anxiety and death threats over their brand of comedy. And how it has not only been a positive in their lives, but how its made them two of the most loved Adopted Scousers ever.
All their current content can be found here https://www.youtube.com/user/westie3435
Sorry, for the delay, but I had to learn how to edit this.
Jack and Little Yank talk more Conspiracy Theories, as well as Racism In Crime. And then a House of Scouse OG Musician, Chloe Pitchford arrived. We talked Everton, music, acceptance in a male dominated industry, and then she sang 3 belting tunes for us.
We Did It!!! Episode Ten. Thank you to everyone who has supported us so far. It will only get better and better.
Jack has a favourite subject. And it's Conspiracy Theories. Although we touch base on 9/11, JFK and the usual ones, We go in depth about The Flat Earth Society, and their steadfast belief that all we were taught & know about Planet Earth is incorrect, and we are just a flat mass under a dome.
We also talk about the strange going on at The Bohemian Grove, a Country Club and Hotel where for one week a year, the rich and powerful go to perform rituals including making a "sacrifice" to the Gods, performing plays and shows and... public urination. All while making business and political decisions that will affect the planet (round or flat) over the course of the next 12 months
Rebecca Riley - One Cool Poet, and one cool chick as well. Rebecca brought her positive energy and infectious attitude into the studio when we talk about poetry. What it is, what took the actress down the path to write and perform her own poetry.
As is her style, Rebecca shows a "Force of Nature" style as she delivers 2 poems, one an adapted song, and the other, and original work.
Musician, Actress, Songwriter, Fashion Icon, all round class came to the ScouseCast Studio in the form of the amazing Daisy Gill. Daisy talked to us about everything from how her style, both in Fashion and Music has made sure that she stands out from the rest in the Liverpool Music Scene today. We also talk about the movie Perfectly Frank, and how working through pneumonia was a risk Daisy took.
As always, the session ends with 2 songs from the lady herself.
The boys are joined by Catalan born, but Adopted Scouser - Carlitos. They talk about musical influences, both Spanish & English, the differences between people's attitudes both North and South of the UK, and how Liverpool has become his much loved home. The music from Carlitos is right from a holiday postcard, so sit back, pour a large glass of wine and enjoy the relaxing Blues that only Carlitos can provide.
So, Liverpool won number Six. And Yank wore a Liverpool shirt. But this is audio so you wont see him in it hahaha. The show has Foz bring up favourite chippys, and what our top picks are from our local takeaway. We also chat about local events, a short chat on boxing, and bring up getting "Legged" or chased from pranks played when we were kids
