Clowns will always be scary and this really just puts the nail on the coffin for that stereotype. One of the 2017 horror movies that revived the entire genre!  Stephen King himself actually liked this version, and he almost never likes movies adapted from his books. Nostalgia, comedy, mystery, top notch special effects and of course absolute horror blend together beautifully to create what we would consider a horrific masterpiece.
