Talking about stress management, self-care and mental health in the workplace can reduce the stigma associated with mental illness. Today, we sit down with Independent Health and Horizon to further discuss what the two organizations have developed to assist employers on how to provide resources and education to their employees. The partnership will achieve this through a training program by connecting employers with resources to identify mental health conditions and also assist employees through what can be a sensitive conversation with their teams. Experts are predicting that the need for mental healthcare services will continue to escalate as the corona virus pandemic continues and being able to recognize the symptoms of mental health conditions and continue conversations is vital for maintaining a healthy workplace.
