It is said that change does not happen overnight. It is also said that change can happen in seconds, or even in a split second. Through the transformation from the former fishing village to today’s international metropolis, how many things have lasted throughout the period? And how many things have quietly disappeared under the wheel of the time? Over the years, how much has Hong Kong changed? In this series of “Hong Kong Stories”, we shall begin with the people, objects and things in the past. Through the different little stories, let us take a look at our city’s before and after.
