Gone Girl: when a simple divorce just isn't enough

Poor Nick, his wife has disappeared, and despite the fact that he is trying hard to be nonchalant about the whole thing, the public and her family have decided to make it a big deal. Shoulder shrugging and confused eye rolling doesn't seem to capture his feeling for long though as he realises that perhaps he is in the middle of a game that she plays much better than he does.
