
In today's episode we talk about what I call an "emotional default" or a "resting state". Your resting state, or default mode, is the emotional state of mind you subconsciously get into without effort. Although you have all of your emotions within you, each person has one emotion in the drivers seat. And this one emotion is different for every individual. This emotion that's in your drivers seat is your emotional default. You’re capable of feeling all emotions however you have to actively, rather than passively, reach for these emotions as opposed to the one in the drivers seat, which is always your go to.
Today we’re going to discuss two things: first why it’s important to why it’s important to pin point, acknowledge and get comfortable with your resting state for your own self-love. And second why it’s important to acknowledge it in order to strengthen your relationship with important people around you.
