The words of the great John Lennon come to mind as I write this, "You may say I'm a dreamer, But I'm not the only one, I hope someday you'll join us, And the world will be as One..."

Garth has played alongside the finest rock, blues and jazz musicians of our time--among them, Gregg Allman, John Lee Hooker, Dr. John, Robben Ford, Bill Champlin, Bob Weir and--Miles Davis--widely considered the most influential musician in the history of jazz.
The episode interweaves piano, guitar and voice, inspired by the compelling insights of Miles Davis. Indeed, Miles Davis has an uncanny sense of what makes music powerful and affecting. He speaks about silence, about listening, and he made a wide space for the musicians who played with him. And listening and space, dear friends, are the ground for real human connection between us all. x
