Welcome to the "Hollywood Zeros Podcast," the no-BS movie club that's tearing up the airwaves, brought to you by 1 girl and 2 guys who just like movies. No stuffy critics, no highfalutin film theory – just real talk about real good movies. This is a movie club, so that means we want you to watch the movies with us. Every other week, we will announce the next movie at bat. We're throwing ourselves into the wild world of flicks, tackling everything from box office smashes to those weird indie films your hipster cousin can't shut up about. We chat 'em up, break 'em down, and have a blast doing it. We're not looking for the next Roger Ebert or some film school hotshot. If you dig movies and can handle some banter, you're already on Team Zero. So crack a beer, fire up the movie of the week, and dive into the no-holds-barred conversation about what makes these films tick, or bomb, as the case may be. At Hollywood Zeros, we're all about cutting through the bull, having a laugh, and talking movies without making a federal case out of it. No pretentiousness, no snobbery – just a few laughs, some killer movie talk, and maybe even a new favorite flick along the way. Welcome to Hollywood Zeros – where everyone's a critic, but nobody's judging.

Burn After Reading
Welcome to episode 3 of Hollywood Zeros! We are turning our attention to the darkly comic labyrinth of a film - Burn After Reading brought to you by the masterminds of cinema, the Coen Brothers. Expect laughs, confusion, and more twists and turns than a pretzel factory as we delve deep into the minds of the Coens and their cast of eccentric characters. From the bumbling antics of Brad Pitt's Chad Feldheimer to the steely resilience of Frances McDormand's Linda Litzke, we're breaking it all down. We'll be rating Nick's pick, untangling the plot knots, and most importantly, debating whether this is a gem in the Coen Brothers' catalogue. We'll also be discussing the Coens' signature stylistic choices, and how they've used their unique blend of dark humor and drama to turn a potentially mundane tale into a must-watch farce that still has us questioning our own reality. So whether you're a Coen Brothers aficionado, a first-time viewer, or just someone who appreciates a good ol' fashioned romp, there's something for you in this episode. And don't worry if you're new to the Hollywood Zeros or even to the Coens' world - you don't need to be a film scholar to jump in and enjoy the chat. Tune in, crack up, and see "Burn After Reading" in a whole new light with us. In the world of Hollywood Zeros, we're all just trying to make sense of the chaos, one film at a time. Welcome team zero, where every voice counts and every movie matters.
