Super Bowl Mega Episode!!!
On our SuperBowl Spectacular episode your HVG crew dives into their favorite football movies. First Donny starts us off with Adam Sandler comedy Water Boy (1998). The movie tells the story of Bobby Boucher who becomes a college football star when he is able to tap into his anger and become a tackling machine. Next Mike brings his favorite football movie Any Given Sunday (1999). The film stars Al Pacino as veteran coach Tony D’amato and Jamie Foxx young and brash quarterback Willy Beamen. Directed by Oliver Stone this film has several interweaving stories and a wonderful ensemble cast. Last, Randy takes us home with his favorite movie Remember The Titans (2000). In 1971 Virginia high school football was everything to the people of Alexandria. But when the school board was forced to integrate an all-black school with an all-white one, the very foundation of football's tradition was put to the test. Starring Denzel Washington as coach Herman Boone. This film also has a strong ensemble cast including Will Patton, Wood Harris and Ryan Hurst.    What is your favorite Football Movie?
