Hmong Sheboygan Radio started broadcasting on September 23, 1983 at North High School Radio WSHS 91.7 FM. The original program aired traditional Hmong songs, music, and provided vital information for the adjustment of Hmong refugees from Laos since the fall of the Vietnam war. Since the program went off the air in 2019, the Hmong Mutual Assistance of Sheboygan decided to bring it back for a short period, leading up to the Sheboygan Hmong New Year celebration at North High School on November 29th & 30th. We hope you enjoy these special and limited episodes and thank you for listening!

Halloween Special

Welcome to our Halloween Special and the first episode of this Hmong Radio Podcast limited series!

We would like to express our deepest gratitude to Xia Vue Yang. He is a voice many of us in Sheboygan grew up with, and we're so thrilled that he has generously given his time and efforts to make this 6 episode series happen.

Many many thanks to Hmong Ghost Stories on Facebook also. Without their permission to allow us to share these spooky stories, there would be no Halloween Special! Go check out their Facebook and support them too. Don't get nightmares while you're at it!
