The World Richest Man said two miracles will happen ending the HIV epidemic within 15 years. According to Bloomberg, Bill Gates said he expects a pair of advances by 2030 that will eliminate most of the damage from AIDS, an epidemic costing more than 36 million lives. Improved treatment and a vaccine to prevent new infections are the “two miracles” needed, co-founder of Microsoft Corp said Friday at the World Economic Forum in Switzerland. Thestar.com reports: "A former inmate at Ontario’s new superjail has launched a human rights complaint against the province, alleging he was held in solitary confinement for more than 90 days last year after other inmates protested about his HIV-positive status."
