One of the great lesser known stories out of WWII, The Great Escape is a movie about...well, a great escape. McQueen, Garner, Bronson, lots of British soldiers, some machine guns, tunnels, a motorcycle chase, this American Classic may be long in the tooth but it sure isn't lacking in substance.
