Notorious for being paranoid, petty, and wielding immense power, Hoover was the first Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (a position he would hold for 37 years). We discuss his apparent lack of interest in investigating organized crime and compare it to his crusade against communists, civil rights activists, and other so-called 'political dissidents'.  Listen, I'm not gonna say this is our best episode. I also won't say it's our worst. It's a bit of a goof-off episode to close the year. Stay safe and we will see you all in 2023!
