The Battle of the Tongue – The Power of Partnership

3 Battlegrounds  series - part 3

In this powerful episode, we dive into the third battle in our series,  the battle of the tongue.

We reflect on our journey so far:

• In Episode 1, we explored the heart, how God wants to give us a new heart, and how guarding it is essential to walking in His fullness.
• In Episode 2, we examined the mind, and how much of the battle is won or lost in our thoughts. Sometimes it's not the enemy attacking us, it’s what we’ve let settle in our minds.

And now, in Episode 3, we’re reminded that:

Our tongues are places of partnership, either with God or the enemy.

Scripture tells us death and life are in the power of the tongue (Proverbs 18:21).
From Genesis, where God spoke creation into being, to Ezekiel 37 where God invited a prophet to speak life over dry bones, we see that God chooses to work through our words.
He could have done it alone, but He said: “Prophesy, son of man…”

This episode asks:

• What are you speaking over your life, your family, your finances, your community?
• Are your words partnering with fear, bitterness, and death — or are they aligning with God’s truth, His Spirit, and His promises?

We are encouraged to:

• Watch over our words like a watchman over a city.
• Reject the lies of the enemy, and replace them with truth.
• Speak life, even over the dry bones in our lives.

“Like Father, like child, God speaks and creates. So do we. Be careful what you speak, because you’re building something with every word.”
