What is the difference between Success and Significance? Success = the accomplishment of an aim or purpose. Significance = the quality of being worthy of attention; importance. Success is then more like achieving a goal, earning a certain amount of money, or getting to a desired level in your business. Significance is then more like the IMPORTANCE, or impact, of what you’re trying to accomplish, but it goes deeper than that. It’s more closely related to the long-term impact, that spans generations and time, of what you’re accomplishing.
