When my son was close to his 2nd birthday, he went through a few random episodes that impacted his immune system to the point that, one day, he woke up with all his motricity gone. He couldn't walk, sit, eat on his own and his eyes would only be looking at the ceiling. After 48 hours of tests, tears, anxiety and fear, the doctor told us he had something called Cerebella Ataxia. His body had been overtaxed over the course of 3 weeks (ear infection, bad mosquito bites, cold and cough,...) so a part of his brain shut off so that his body could recover. After just a couple of days he was back to normal but we had to see a chiropractor for his hips since his spine had given up for a few days. She advised me to see a Pediatric Reiki Practitioner for the emotional trauma and at the time I had no idea what Reiki or Energy work was. From this moment on, my life changed forever. I saw the immediate change in both my kids (my oldest one had been very shaken up by it all) and I promised myself to take the Reiki 1 training to understand what she had done to save my family. Today I am a Holy Fire Reiki Master and this would have never happened without this trauma we all went through.
