His Knightsbridge OG won third prize at the 2013 High Times Cup in Amsterdam and put Lady Sativa Genetics on the map. Recently Jah teamed up with Q-Farms, one of the ten licensed producers in the Dutch cannabis experiment, bringing strains like Super Orange Glue, Marmalade, Kensington Kush and of course Knightsbridge OG to the Dutch consumer. We talk about his journey, the UK cannabis scene and much more. In the news section we discuss the problems one of the other licensed producers in the experiment, CanAdelaar, is having with complaints about the smell from people living close by. We talk about a new study proving that cannabis flower’s THC content can vary by as much as one-third, even within the same plant and a Google pilot project in Canada, allowing cannabis advertising. Our history segment is devoted to Mr. Nice, the autobiography of Welsh cannabis smuggler Howard Marks (1945-2016).

Rinus Beintema groeide in de afgelopen tien jaar uit tot een van de bekendste gezichten in cannabisland. De Volkskrant noemde hem de Robin Hood van de cannabis en met zijn stichting Suver Nuver voorzag hij tienduizenden Nederlanders van medicinale wietolie. In het tweede deel van ons extra lange interview met Rinus, vertelt hij over de overval op één zijn kweeklocaties in 2011, een keerpunt in zijn leven. We bespreken de oprichting en stormachtige groei van Suver Nuver en het opzetten van een netwerk van medische social clubs door het hele land. De rechtszaak tegen Suver Nuver komt aan bod en de producten die de stichting nu verkoopt, met Irie Water als vlaggenschip. De Ouwe Doos gaat over de ‘Cannabis Free Party’ in Leeuwarden, op 2 mei 1998.
