Episode 1: “Top Five Heartbreaks”
We are introduced to Robin who goes as Rob, and she is going through her top 5 heartbreaks as she goes to work owning her own record shop as well. We are also introduced to Simon and Cherise who are Rob’s best friends and employees. They support her, but don’t let her get away with anything. The most recent and biggest heartbreak of her life is Mac who wanted to propose to her, but ended in heartbreak. And music plays a huge part in the show and Rob’s life as a whole.
Episode 2: “Track 2”
The episode opens up on Rob’s one night stand Clyde’s car getting towed, and she feels he tried to walk out on her after they hooked up. Rob falls into an obsessive turn into making the best heartbreak playlist. She focuses on the importance of an opener and closer song. Playlists can make or break a relationship. Rob continues to pine over her lost long love Mac, and continues to dissect what went wrong.
