This week Garrett is imagining to look at a bird called a LAPWING. One of his favourites. It is a WADER. It’s name in the Irish Language is ‘Pilibín’. The Latin name is ‘Vanellus Vanellus’. It is RED LISTED in Ireland. The collective noun for Lapwings is a Deceit of Lapwings. One of the best birds to listen to, sounds like a mobile phone. Beautiful to watch in flight while roding the air with its round tipped wings. Lots of other facts and finds also and an array of other bird life in the background.
