“We gotta get out of the bit!”

Guys, we know it’s two hours long, but you gotta understand – this week’s Hey Poor Podcast is almost certainly the best we’ve ever done. I “Subject X” Coleman and Jay “Suck Weed” Petrequin may have a reputation for arguing with each other about everything under the sun, but in this episode they join forces for a much more noble goal: arguing with the entire rest of the games industry about everything under the sun. We take on lazy games writers and the lazy writing techniques that sustain them, hateful gamers and their love of hate, and – of course – the ever-revolting antics of “Scum Companies, or Scumpanies.” It’s not all negative, though – we’ve got lots of good things to say about Pyre, Gigantic, and an upcoming game about secret cats, and along the way we also finally provide a few of the musical moments that people are always asking us for and introduce a new character who’s sure to become a fan favorite.
