Leonie Akhidenor hosts The Parenthood Podcast, born out of her challenges; combating pre and post-natal depression with both babies. As a proud first generation Melbourne, Greek/ Nigerian and recovering perfectionist, she felt ashamed and isolated in her struggles prompting her to create her podcast to share those stories of struggles to humanise what we all go through as parents through parenthood.


In this episode these two inspiring Mumma’s talk about Leonie’s experience with Antenatal & Postpartum Depression, the impact it had on her and her husband. They dive into the whirlwind that was getting married, falling pregnant and not feeling ready. Feeling grateful for having fallen pregnant but also carrying guilt for also being sad.


There is something for every Mum in this story whether you’re about to become a mum for the first time or you already have an established tribe.
