In the eleventh episode of Hey Awesome Girl with Tivi Jones, you’ll meet Keia Miller, Counsel with the Department of Veterans Affairs and certified Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Investigator. Keia grew up in the small town of Hiddenite, NC, and is currently based in Raleigh, NC. She attended the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, graduating in May 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and African-American Studies.
Keia obtained her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Alabama School of Law in May 2010. She has been licensed to practice law since March 2011. In this episode, Keia opens up to Tivi about being a breast cancer previvor and shares her unconventional self-care tips. She also talks about surviving law school and working as a lawyer.
