Ringing in the new year with so much positivity and gratitude. In this episode we explore the curiosities of gratitude, courage, and empathy. We are joined by KC Van Der Zee.
KC Van Der Zee is a songwriter and singer in multiple music projects based in the San Francisco Bay Area. They sing and front in an internationally touring punk band called The Vaxxines, and perform back-up vocals for indie folk-rock group, Mount Saint Elias. KC also put out an album this past year titled, “Morning Is Bound to Come,” as the lead vocals and lyrics with the collaborative project, That Band Frank. They will also be coming out with their very first solo EP in the new year!
KC has a background in crisis counseling, as well as de-escalation and grounding skills. They enjoy learning new things, dancing, community activities, and sharing our stories of struggle and resilience so that we may heal together in solidarity, so that we may empower ourselves to grow a more compassionate world.)
